Liner is a PO disc with Saranex on both surfaces (PO-S).
Usage is recommended for aging up to 72 months and beyond.

A recent demand raised for crowns with a total barrier liner (minimal permeability) targeting wines requiring an extensive aging process. The need of a 3rd alternative led to a new generation of a joint ?total barrier? which consists of an expanded polyethylene disc covered on both sides with a SARANEX film. Results obtained by LNE showed a very long osmotic exchange (0,14 cubic cm of CO2 every 24 hours). Wine can age preserving freshness and aromas for long time without risks of oxidation.
